A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Gwyn has been the speech language pathologist at ARE since August 2015! Before ARE Gwyn provided speech services at Thornton High School while working in Adams 12 from October 2013 -June 2015. She has also worked extensively in elementary schools as a speech pathologist from 2009-2012, and she has even done a year of early intervention home health therapy. Prior to this, she taught as an elementary educator. Gwyn's favorite part of ARE is that she's working with elementary aged students again, they are so much fun! Outside of ARE you can find Gwyn reading, hiking, skiing, cooking and traveling. Her favorite kid books to read would be any from Dr. Suess. Gwyn has been married since 1995 and has one grown children, and one child starting his junior year at CSU. Go Rams! She has a new labradoodle puppy named Wrenley. One fun fact about Gwyn is that when she was younger her family would travel from Louisiana to Colorado every year to go skiing.
