Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, I have worked in education since 2006 and love being a part of the ARE community! Before ARE, I taught fourth and fifth grade in California, North Carolina, and Colorado. When not working, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and attending live sporting and music events. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, our one year old son, and family and friends. I love being part of such a wonderful school community and find so much joy working with children.
