I am honored to be back at Arapahoe Ridge! I have been in education since 2002 and have learned so much from the talented educators and mentors I have crossed paths with over the years. My teaching career began at an inner city school in Buffalo, NY. I grew up in a small town between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. My desire to live in the sunshine and near the mountains led me to Colorado where I began my teaching career in Adams 12 community in 2004. I’ve been fortunate to serve as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, reading interventionist, assistant principal, and now principal. I truly love working with children and could not be happier to continue this work at ARE. Outside of work, I have a wonderful husband and two children – ages 8 and 3. We love spending our free time in the mountains skiing and hiking. We also love having family movie nights, watching college football and getting together with friends and family.
