PTO Fundraising

Fundraising helps support the needs of our students and school. PTO fundraising events are designed to provide quality products, services, and community building programs to our students and families as a means to raise money for various projects and classroom needs. Your support of these events is greatly appreciated and helps provide resources that otherwise would not have been possible due to budget constraints. Check out the Annual PTO Report to learn about ways the PTO provided support last year.

There are several easy ways that you can participate in raising money for Arapahoe Ridge and the PTO. If you’re having trouble participating in any of these opportunities, we’re here to help! Email us at:

School Fundraising:

In the fall, a catalog-based event is our first big fundraiser of the year.  Through fundraising, students sell products, earn rewards and a percentage of every sale goes straight back to the school.

Do you want to support the school, but aren’t interested in purchasing products? We would love to have cash donations made directly to the school and we can accept these donations at any time. Those can be in the form of cash or check with all checks made out to Arapahoe Ridge Elementary.

A spring online donation event is the final fundraiser of the year. We hold this event to raise funds to support the purchase and continued use of vital online educational resources and technology equipment. A list of educational resources include, but are not limited to: PebbleGo, BrainPOP, Mystery Science, Scholastic and Raz-Kids. Technology equipment is used in classrooms by the teachers so they have working technical devices available to best support learning.

School Fun Run and Community Events:

A school community run in which all grade classes raise funds to sponsor their running around a path in front of the school. Other fundraising events are pending - Get involved to help with planning!

School Dine-Out and Spirit Nights:

Throughout the year, the PTO schedules Arapahoe Ridge Dine-Out / Spirit Nights at various establishments to promote community building among staff, students, and families. The restaurants that participate have agreed to give a percentage of the sales back to ARE! We send reminders via email, as events on the ARE Facebook page and paper flyers are sent home prior to these events.

King Soopers Community Rewards Program:

You can help Arapahoe Ridge just by doing your regular grocery shopping or filling your car with fuel!  Create a digital account and link your Shopper’s Card so that all transactions earn credit and apply toward Arapahoe Ridge Elementary. Get started here:

Box Tops for Education:

Participating in Box Tops has never been easier - All you need is your phone! Download the Box Tops app and link your account to Arapahoe Ridge Elementary. Shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings online. ARE will receive money to support school programs and teacher requests throughout the year! Click here to get started:

If you discover a traditional Box Tops clip on a product, you can still clip it and send it to school. Every valid Box Tops clip is still worth 10¢!! Make sure each one you turn in has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date. You can drop off any traditional clipped Box Tops at school by the front office.

Milk Caps for MOOOLA:

Milk Caps for MOOOLA is a program sponsored by Longmont Dairy that helps students earn money for their school and students. Longmont Dairy milk caps are worth 5¢ each and are redeemable for cash by participating schools only. Participating is easy as 1-2-3! Drink Longmont Dairy Milk (or other eligible cap products). Save the bottle caps - Save as many as you can! From your bottles, or collect them from your family and neighbors. Bring your milk caps to school and put them into the collection box by the front office. More information here:
