Arapahoe Ridge Elementary wrapped up the 2024–2025 school year in the most exciting way possible—with a spectacular Field Day Celebration that had students smiling from ear to ear! From the tiniest Kindergarteners to the confident Fifth Graders, every student had the opportunity to participate in a day full of energy, laughter, and team spirit.
Thanks to the incredible planning and leadership of our very own PE Teacher extraordinaire, Mrs. Angie Gilbreath, the day was packed with fun-filled activities that got everyone moving. Events included classics like the 30-Yard Dash, Sack Race, and Egg & Spoon Relay, as well as school favorites such as Drip Drip Drench, 9 Square in the Air, Shoe Kick, Frisbee Throw, and the always-hilarious 3-Legged Race.
The field buzzed with excitement as parents, families, and friends joined in to cheer from the sidelines, adding to the festive atmosphere and community spirit.
A huge shout-out goes to our amazing PTO for keeping everyone cool with delicious popsicles for all students—a sweet treat to top off a perfect day! And a great big thank you to the Latino in Action students from Silver Hills Middle School that came and help to host the fun field day experiences!
Field Day 2025 was a heartwarming reminder of what makes ARE so special: our dedicated staff, supportive families, and joyful students. Here's to a fantastic summer and an even brighter year ahead!
