Annual Donuts with Grown Ups is a Sweet Success!

The morning air was filled with the scent of glazed sugar and community spirit this past Friday as Arapahoe Ridge Elementary hosted its annual "Donuts with Grown Ups" event.

The Arapahoe Ridge PTO organized the successful gathering, welcoming families from both the Arapahoe Ridge and Thunder Vista communities. The turnout was record-breaking, with a line of excited students and their "grown-ups" stretching out the front doors before the school bell even rang.

A Community Effort

The event was made possible through a generous partnership with Krispy Kreme, who donated half of the 30 dozen donuts served. Thanks to their support, hundreds of students were able to enjoy a sweet treat and quality time with their families to kick off the school day.

"We were absolutely blown away by the turnout," noted PTO organizers. "Seeing the kids so excited to share their school space with their parents and guardians is what this event is all about."

As the last crumbs were cleared, it was clear the event was a "sweet success," leaving students energized and ready for their Friday lessons.
