Welcome to the new school year! I love working at Arapahoe Ridge and it has been exciting to see all of the amazing work and growth that has been happening for students. I am looking forward to a wonderful, successful school year and am grateful to see our school begin construction on the much needed twelve classroom expansion we have needed for many years! I would like to extend a sincere thank you to our community for making this happen.
Arapahoe Ridge has a collective commitment to providing a safe environment for students that inspires them to think critically and joyfully engage in their learning. Our families play an integral role in helping our school make this vision come alive for students. Together we can make this happen through collaboration, open communication, innovation and creating rigorous learning opportunities for students.
Our school was founded on professional development and collaboration to reflect and fine tune instruction for students at all levels. We will keep this at the forefront of our work this year so that we can continue to study and implement instructional best practices. Our staff is committed to providing a safe place for students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. It is important that our parents and community feel comfortable and confident about the work we are doing with children each day. We also want to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with your children. We learn as much from them as they learn from us!
We encourage you to visit, volunteer or contact us via phone or email with questions, ideas, concerns or compliments! I have an open door policy and will always make time to meet with you. You can call or stop by the office to schedule a meeting time or if I am not in a meeting or classroom working with teachers and students, I would be happy to meet with you.
Again, it is an honor and privilege to be a part of this community and serve your children. Our staff looks forward to partnering with our community and I look forward to meeting you all this school year!
