Principal Update-August 17th
Dear Arapahoe Ridge Families,
We hope your child had a great first week back to school. Below please find important updates and reminders:
Tuesday, August 28th - Back to School Night from 4pm-6pm
Please come and meet your child’s teacher and see all of the new improvements to our school!
If you would like to purchase additional supplies, PTO is sponsoring a school supply drive at Back to School Night! They can be dropped off at the PTO table. Supplies will be distributed and used to support students that did not bring supplies and will also be used to replenish teacher/student supplies throughout the school year.
Delivering Messages and Items to Students During the School Day
Please assist us by making sure your child has items such as a lunch, jacket, water bottle, snack, homework, etc. and arrangements have been made for after school plans, before leaving for school in the morning. In order to limit interrupting the learning environment, the office staff will only deliver messages and items to students during the school day if it is an emergency. Thanks for your help!
Monday, September 3rd - Labor Day/No School for Staff/Students
Tuesday, September 4th - Assessment Day
Details coming soon. This is not a normal school day and students will only attend school during their assigned assessment time.
Tuesday, September 4th @ 6:15 pm - Kick off PTO Meeting
Join us in the library for our first PTO Meeting. We will talk about what PTO does for our school and you can learn ways to get involved and support our staff and students.
