Dear Arapahoe Ridge Families,

Have a wonderful summer! Below are a few updates and dates to remember for back to school in August:

Report Cards Came Home Today

Please check your child’s backpack for their report card. It came home today. Along with the report card please find a thank you note detailing how we have spent our fundraising dollars this year! Grades can also be accessed via your Infinite Campus login.

Seeking Garden Leadership

We are actively seeking new leaders for our school garden! Leading the school garden is a wonderful way to enjoy time outside, offer experiential learning opportunities to kids, learn new skills and support our school.   Surveying a group of 4th and 5th graders at Arapahoe Ridge showed us the impact of our school garden.

  • 96% of students have tried new foods from the garden.

  • 96% of students said that the garden helped them understand where food comes from and how food grows.

  • 96% of students feel confident planting seeds and harvesting vegetables.

  • 95% of students said that the garden has helped them understand the importance of pollinators.

  • 90% of students have eaten food from the garden or from our farmers market with their family.

  • 55% of students reported that things they've learned in the garden have helped them connect with family members who like to garden.

Please consider this opportunity and share widely with friends and neighbors who might not be on our email list. Gardening expertise is not a must; we can teach you everything you need to know! Summer Office Hours

Our office will remain open until Friday, June 7th from 8am-2pm.  Arapahoe Ridge will be closed Monday, June 10th and will reopen on Thursday, August 1st.

Online Check In for 2019-20

We are excited to announce that the online check-in process opens this summer starting June 10, 2019. As a reminder, online check-in is the district’s check-in process for all returning students at all schools. In order to receive class schedules and teacher assignments before school starts, all parents/guardians of returning students must complete the online process by August 11, 2019. Schedules will be available in the parent portal starting on August 2 for those who have completed the process. Assistance with the online process is available by contacting the District Service Desk at (720) 972-4120 or visiting a number of locations for onsite online check-in.
